About Basketball Bros
Basketball Bros turns a basketball game into a quick burst of arcade chaos. It is a side-scrolling 1-on-1 game where two players race around a small court, fight for possession, launch three-pointers, and go for ridiculous dunks. The matches are split into four quarters, with each quarter lasting just one minute, so there is never much time to sit back.
Pick Your Bro
There are 27 characters to unlock, and they are clearly inspired by famous basketball stars without taking themselves too seriously. Names such as Step Flurry and Luke Magic give the roster its goofy personality. More importantly, every character plays differently. Shooting, height, hops, speed, handles, and defense all have their own stats, so choosing a fast player can feel completely different from using a taller dunk specialist.
More Than a Quick Match
If you want a fast game, Play Now lets you jump straight into a match against the AI. Playing with a friend? The 2 Players mode puts both players on the same computer for some competitive couch action.
For something longer, Franchise Mode takes one character through a 17-game championship run. There is also Shooting Practice, where you can work on shot timing without worrying about an opponent.
Keep Moving
Basketball Bros is built around movement. Sprint past your opponent, steal the ball, shove your way into position, then finish with a huge dunk before the clock runs out. With single-player, local multiplayer, and online play, it is the kind of basketball game that works just as well for a five-minute break as it does for a longer session.
