Cartoon Strike is a multiplayer FPS that keeps things quick, colorful, and a little ridiculous. The pixel-style graphics give it an old-school look, but the matches are built around fast online fights rather than a story or campaign. One map might feel like a World War II battlefield, while another can throw you into a futuristic or completely bizarre setting.
Jump Into a Match
Getting into the action doesn't take much. Pick an active public server and join a match already in progress, or create your own room if you'd rather decide the map and rules. Private servers are also handy when you want to play with friends without random players getting in the way.
Choose Your Soldier
There are eight different soldier types to choose from, giving you a few ways to change up your appearance. Your weapon selection is more important once the shooting starts. Pistols and rifles cover the basics, while heavier equipment such as RPGs can cause serious trouble when used at the right time.
Different Ways to Fight
Team Deathmatch is all about working together and finishing with the higher score before the clock runs out. Free For All removes the teamwork and turns everyone into a target. Depending on the version or map, objective matches such as Capture the Flag and Capture the Point add another reason to move around instead of simply hunting kills.
The simple visuals make Cartoon Strike easy to pick up, while the different maps, weapons, and multiplayer modes keep each match from feeling exactly the same. It is a straightforward shooter that puts the focus where it belongs: getting into the fight and having fun.
