There is no quiet treasure hunt in Blobade. The island is packed with pirates, piles of gold, and players looking for an easy target. You start out small, collect doubloons scattered around the map, and slowly turn into a much larger pirate. Bigger size means more health and a longer cutlass reach, so grabbing gold can make a real difference when another captain comes looking for trouble.
Gold Is Worth Fighting Over
Coins lying around the island are only part of the loot. Defeating another pirate causes their collected treasure to spill across the ground. If you can grab that pile before somebody else arrives, your character can grow rapidly. It is tempting to chase every bit of gold you see, but sometimes backing away is the smarter move.
Know When to Pick a Fight
The combat is straightforward, but reckless attacks rarely end well. A quick strike followed by a retreat can catch an opponent off guard. The charged dash is especially useful when you need to close a gap or get away from a dangerous situation. Picking off a pirate who has just survived another fight can also be far safer than jumping into a battle between several players.
The Island Keeps Shrinking
A toxic barrier gradually cuts away the safe part of the island. Staying outside it drains your health, forcing the surviving pirates toward the same area. Those final encounters can become surprisingly tense, especially when several oversized characters are carrying huge amounts of gold.
Spend Your Loot
Treasure earned during your games has a use beyond the current match. You can spend it on pirate characters, pets, and access to additional islands. Blobade keeps its idea simple: collect treasure, grow stronger, survive the crowd, and make sure you're the pirate left standing when the island finally runs out of room.
