About Tiny Garden War
Tiny Garden War turns an ordinary backyard into a battlefield where plants have to deal with an endless stream of hungry zombies. The idea is pretty simple: keep the undead away from your house by filling each yard row with plants that can attack, block, or wipe out groups of enemies. What starts with a few basic plants soon becomes a much bigger fight with tougher zombies and trickier stages.
Meet the Garden Defenders
Every plant has a job. Peashooters fire peas at zombies from a distance, while Wall-nuts can stand in the way and give other plants more time to attack. Cherry Bombs are useful when several zombies bunch together, since one explosion can clear a whole group.
Sun is needed to plant these defenders. It drops from the sky during daytime levels, and Sunflowers or Sun-shrooms can produce more over time. Before each level, you choose a limited selection of seed packets, so bringing the right combination matters.
Hold Every Row
Zombies enter from the right and move toward the house on the left. Plants must be placed in the correct lanes to stop them. If things go badly, a lawnmower at the end of each row provides one emergency sweep. Once a mower has been used, that row has no second safety net.
The 50-level Garden War campaign moves through Day, Night, Pool, Fog, and Roof stages. Each setting changes how the garden works, so the same setup will not always do the job.
More Zombies, More Ways to Play
There are 48 plants to unlock and 26 zombie types to learn, including Coneheads, Pole Vaulting Zombies, Bucketheads, and Zombonis. The Suburban Almanac keeps track of them with useful information and some amusing descriptions.
Outside the main campaign, Vasebreaker and I, Zombie add different challenges, while Survival throws continuous waves at your garden. The cheerful music and silly zombie sounds keep the mood light, even when the yard is packed with enemies.
For players, much of the fun comes from watching a carefully planned defense handle a huge wave—or discovering that one stubborn zombie has found the exact weak spot in the garden.
