Garfield War drops you into a messy, fast-moving fight where Garfield has to defend his fridge from waves of strange food creatures. You’re not just placing defenses and watching things play out - you control Garfield directly, running across the screen and taking down enemies yourself before they get too close.
Every level keeps you busy. Meatball-like enemies keep coming, and you have to react quickly, moving Garfield into position and attacking at the right time. As you defeat them, you collect popcorn, which you can spend right away to call in support. Whether it’s drones or other helpers, having backup can make the difference when things start to pile up.
There are 60 levels, and each one throws a set number of enemies at you. Early stages are simple enough to get used to the controls, but later levels demand better timing and smarter use of your popcorn. If you waste resources too early, you’ll feel it when stronger waves arrive.
The mix of direct control and light strategy keeps things interesting. You’re always doing something - moving, attacking, or deciding when to summon help. It’s quick to pick up, but staying in control when the screen fills with enemies is where the real challenge begins.
